                                    NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT PROCESS

If you are unable to enroll online, the following documents will need to be completed and emailed to Maria_Aliaga@mcpsmd.org.

  • Student Birth certificate or Passport.  If submitting passport, Parent Affidavit required.
  • Copy of the parent's ID.
  • Copy of current lease, if renter; copy of property tax bill, if homeowner; Shared Housing Disclosure Form notarized in a shared housing situation -  335-74.pdf, plus copy of current lease of renter or property tax bill of the homeowner with whom the student and parent are living in addition to 2 supporting documents in the mane of parent/guardian at the address shown on the Shared Housing Disclosure Form.  Acceptable supporting documents:  pay stub, current utility bill, bank statements, official correspondence at residential address.
  • New Student Form: 560-24.pdf.
  • Emergency Form: 565-1.pdf

  • Up-to-Date Immunization Record

  • Unofficial transcript Grades 9 – 12 or 8th grade report card.
  • If the student is receiving special education services or has a 504 plan, please provide a copy of the 504 or IEP.

                                         WITHDRAWAL FROM SCHOOL

To withdraw from Walter Johnson High School, please call the School Registrar, Malu Aliaga, at 240-740-6914 regarding withdrawal procedures. 

The withdrawal statement form must be on file before transcripts, report cards and other school records will be mailed to the new school.

                                                 CHANGE OF ADDRESS

When you move, you MUST call the School Registrar, Malu Aliaga, at 240-740-6914 and bring in PROOF of residency. 

  • Copy of current lease, if renter.

                                                REQUEST A TRANSCRIPT

If you are a current student, please visit the Registrar’s office during office hours.

For graduates in the past 5 years, please email your transcript request to maria_aliaga@mcpsmd.org with a screen shot of your payment made by visiting  payment center and the reason of your request. If you graduated more than 5 years ago, please contact the MCPS Central Records office at 240-740-5270.

                                      REQUEST A LETTER VERIFYING ENROLLMENT

Parents must submit the request to the Registrar by phone or email.  Requests can also be made by students visiting the Registrar during office hours.  If the organization requesting the letter has specific information that needs to be included, please submit all requirements to the Registrar.

                                            All requests are addressed in 24-hours.
