At Frost, all students will participate in a lesson on the RIASEC framework, which helps you explore your strengths, interests, and values. This lesson is the first step in understanding what academic classes, programs, and career opportunities will be the best fit for you.

In addition to the RIASEC lesson, students can schedule time with Mr. Adams to discuss career advising by emailing dadams@worksourcemontgomery.com. Throughout the year, there will also be fun career activities, like bringing in professionals to talk about different career paths and activities to help you explore your interests.

Career development is a lifelong journey, and we’re excited to support you in learning how to make choices that align with your strengths and interests!

Hi Robert Frost Community!

I’m David Adams and I'm so excited to be your child’s career coach!

A little about me: I have a Mathematics degree from the College of Wooster and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. I spent 15 years as an MCPS teacher and later served as operations administrator at Wootton High School. Now, I’m thrilled to be back working with students through the MoCo CAP program, helping kids figure out what excites them and how to turn that into a future they will love.

One of the most important skills you can develop is learning how to be self-evaluative—really understanding what you enjoy, what motivates you, and how that can shape your path. That’s what I’m here to help with! Whether students have big dreams or no idea where to start, I’ve got tools to help explore their strengths, interests, and future possibilities.
