Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped make the Kick-Off Carnival happen this week! Special thanks to our committee members, school staff, and building services, without whom this would not have been possible. Thanks also to our sponsors: Bruster's Ice Cream, Erica Tappis Photography, Sheehan Orthodontics, Zen Windows, and the GYC, who came out and ran sports and games with the kids!

VOLUNTEER your TIME
  • Bobcat Boutique (clothing donations available at school)
  • Movie Night (Winter) We're looking for 2 or more people to help plan a Movie Night for students this winter. This was the number one event students voted for adding to the events schedule last year so we're hoping to make it happen but can't do it without your help!
  • 3v3 Basketball Tournament (March)
  • Concessions- We're looking for 1-2 people to coordinate selling concessions at Winter and Spring intramural sports. Role involves making sure we have enough concessions items to sell, helping to coordinate day of volunteers and helping with setup / cleanup as needed for a handful of home games in the Winter!

    Basketball games 1/21, 1/29, 2/4, 2/11, 2/19, 2/25
    Volunteers needed from 2:45pm-4:45pm
Please email rmsptsavpvolunteers@gmail.com if interested in supporting either need!

DONATE:
  • The Bob Bucks Store is open twice per month for students to cash in their "bucks" earned from teachers and staff for exceptional behaviour. This highly successful initiative is dependent on volunteers and donations! Donate to the Bob Bucks Store, order items directly to the school via the Amazon wish list, or join the SignUp Genius to volunteer
  • The Staff Appreciation committee organizes monthly snacks for the teachers and staff at their meetings. They also organize meals during pre-service week, Back to School Night, Parent Teacher Conferences, and Teacher Appreciation week. Please consider donating to support and encourage our staff through Staff Appreciation Donations or make a snack donation through our SignUp Genius.
  • 6th Graders are attending Outdoor Ed in January and it will be cold! The PTSA is helping to collect waterproof gloves, hats, and winter coats for students who do not have them so they can fully participate in all the activities. If you have gently used gear in middle school sizes please drop them off in the front office. There is also an Amazon Wishlist linked below for purchasing new items. Wishlist items will be delivered to Ridgeview. Thank you for your help!  Amazon Wishlist
