    About Me: 

    I am excited to be the IB Coordinator at RCMS because I have seen how IB philosophy brings learning to life for my students and gives them opportunities to view themselves as valuable citizens of the world who can make a difference.

    I am entering my twentieth year in Montgomery County Public Schools, my thirteenth at Roberto Clemente.  I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2005 with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and in 2010 with a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction in Middle School Mathematics.  I earned an IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning through an online program offered by California State University – San Marcos. While at RCMS, I have taught 8th grade math, 6th grade math, ALT 6, and served as one of the 6th grade Team Leaders for four years.  I am originally from Bothell, Washington, but consider Maryland my home.  I enjoy baking, working out, and playing fast-pitch softball!
