Student Parking Information
Student parking is limited and includes both school student lots and nearby neighborhood streets. Only students with a valid Churchill parking permit are allowed to park in these areas.
🚗 Only seniors may apply for a parking permit.
-
Applications are still open but students will be assigned directly to the waitlist.
-
Notifications are sent to the email listed on the application. All conditionally accepted applicants were notified by email on June 11th .
-
Students must meet all requirements to receive a permit. If requirements are not yet met, students are denied a permit, but may check back to see if space becomes available later.
-
Permits must be clearly displayed in vehicles parked in Churchill-designated areas.
🚫 Important:
Non-seniors and seniors without a valid Churchill permit are parking at their own risk.
Violations may result in:
-
Ticketing
-
Towing at the owner’s expense
-
Loss of future parking privileges
Thank you for following school parking guidelines.

Permit Allocation Process
- Initial notification emails are typically sent by the last day of school to reduce summer uncertainty.
- This email will inform students whether a parking permit has been “reserved” or they have been “waitlisted”.
- “Reserved” permits are NOT GUARANTEED. The student must still meet all requirements.
- A second email will be sent in early August with:
- Permit pick-up dates and payment instructions
- If a permit has been reserved, a $78.25 non-refundable fee will be posted to your School Cash Online account over the summer around August 15th. Payment must be completed before picking up your permit.
- It is the responsibility of the student to monitor their email over the summer.
Permit Pick-Up
- Pick-up for students with “reserved” status is typically scheduled during pre-service week (anticipated dates: August 17 and August 21) or can be picked anytime before school, during lunch or after school once school starts until September 11th if all requirements are met.
- If requirements are not met by September 11, the reserved permit will be revoked, and the student will be placed on the waitlist.
- Waitlisted students are notified when permits become available and are approved on a first-come, first-served basis as they meet the requirements.
- Once on the waitlist, no permits are reserved. They are only issued only while supply lasts.
Important Notes
- ADA Parking: Requires both an official MVA placard and a school-issued permit. Spaces are first-come, first-served.
- No Guarantees: Applying does not guarantee a permit.
- Internship or COSA students: Are not guaranteed parking permits. Please consider alternate arrangements now, in the event your student does not get a permit.
