Now You Know: Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-teacher conferences will be held Nov. 24-25 and are a great opportunity to talk with your child’s teacher about how your child is doing — academically and socially. Here are some questions you can ask…

• Does my child participate in class?
• What are the academic expectations?
• Are there any after-school activities that would benefit my child?
• What can I do at home to support my child’s education?

This is also a time to share concerns or tell your teacher about your child’s interests. MCPS has tip sheets available to help parents as they speak with teachers.
