Students Compete at Montgomery County History Day

More than 350 students from 35 MCPS middle schools and five MCPS high schools took part in the Montgomery County History Day competition on March 8 at Sligo Middle School. This competition started in 2016 and has grown over the years. More than 150 people volunteered as judges to interview and score the students’ projects.

The top two projects from each category (documentary, website, paper, performance, exhibit) in both individual and group were recognized and will move on to compete at the state level. The state competition is on May 3, 2025 at UMBC.

National History Day Final Results 2025
