CPD SA-90 course "Early Language Learners and Augmentative Communication and Assistive Technology" will be offered in July 2024, and in the fall of 2024. MCPS staff can register on Professional Development Online (PDO).
InterACT is staffed
and supported through the Division of PreKindergarten, Special Programs
and Related Services. The team consists of speech/language pathologists,
occupational therapists, a physical therapist, special educators, and
technical support assistants. InterACT
collaborates with school teams to support MCPS students with significant communication disabilities, provides professional development
opportunities, and supports the development of adapted materials to
enable students to participate in the curriculum.
